Thanks for taking time to visit my humble attempt at sharing my love of history and journalism.

As for my background, I am a resident of Morgantown, WV. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University. I am a native of McDowell County, West Virginia and a proud veteran of the 3rd Infantry Division.

Currently, I serve as the director of communications for the state’s largest publicly owned utility and do freelance writing and photography in my spare time through a monthly magazine.

I hope the site sparks an interest or imparts some degree of meaning. At the very least, I hope it helps bring history to life. If you see a bald guy on some street with a camera, seemingly taking photo after photo of the same thing, it’s probably me. Be sure to say hello.
